Well done to our school choir who raised €502 for the local branch of the St. Vincent de Paul Society during their performance in the Blanchardstown Centre yesterday.  Many thanks to EXPRESS BUS who generously donated the use of a bus to us for the day, free of charge.  Thank you to Mrs. Hughes, Mr. Campbell, Mrs. Keane, Mrs. Lawlor, Ms. Loughnane and Ms. Lynn who assisted with this great effort.

Some members of our school choir sang in Crosscare in Blanchardstown Village today.  Well done to all involved.

A trip to the BT Young Scientist Exhibition in the RDS has been arranged for pupils in 6th class on January 8th.  The cost of this trip is €8, to include return coach and entry to the event.  Places are limited and will be awarded on a first come, first served basis.

Swimming lessons for pupils in 3rd classes will begin in late January.  More details to follow after the Christmas Holidays.

The Board of Management’s report to the school community for the school year 2014/15 is available from the office, on request.

Congratulations to Ms. Murtagh who recently gave birth to a baby girl – Róise.

The school will close for Christmas holidays on Tuesday, December 22nd at 12 noon.  We will reopen on Wednesday, January 6th at 9 a.m.

Sincere thanks to all our parents and guardians for all your support and cooperation during this school term and wishing you all a very pleasant and enjoyable Christmas and a happy New Year.  Hope Santa is good to all!

Thank you,
Paula Dargan
