A Few Words from the Principal
Education is a way for children to discover their talents, skills, and possibilities. Whether expressing themsleves through the Arts; or pushing themselves to their sporting horizons; excelling in the classroom; or being the best person they can be; St Philips looks to nurture our pupils to their fullest potential.

It is our philosophy that learning is rooted in three things: a sense of feeling safe; a sense of belonging; and a sense of joy in this world. Our staff work above and beyond the call of duty to ensure that every child has a chance to be and do their best in life.

Our Attendance Targets
As part of our School Plan for 23-26, we have chosen Attendance as one of our key areas to improve on. Everyone knows that if you’re not in, you can’t learn. So everyone in the school community has a part to play.

In November, we are making a major push to improve our attendance scores. The teachers will all be keeping track of their class attendance. There will also be prizes for the top class. Individual pupils will have a chance to win prizes for full attendance each week as well. Even parents whose children have full attendance be entered into a draw to win prizes this month.
