Dear Parent/Guardian,
I would like to wish you and your family a very happy New Year. I hope 2016 is a good one for you all.
Congratulations to all the pupils, parents & grandparents who turned out in Porterstown Park on Saturday, January 9th for the Operation Transformation 3k Run/Walk. What a great way to start 2016!
The school choir will be singing at the Peace Proms in the RDS, Dublin at 8 p.m. on Saturday, February 6th. This promises to be a great night. Tickets & more details at www.peaceproms.com. Tickets will not be available from the school.
Forty-three pupils from 6th class visited the BT Young Scientist Exhibition last Thursday, January 8th. The children attended several very interesting science workshops and had an opportunity to see how science applies to everyday life. They also had some close encounters with Titan the Robot!!
If you have changed your phone number or address recently, please contact the school to let us know.
If you still have money outstanding for school books I would be grateful if you could contact the school office to finalise payment.
The school teams are back training again and we wish them every success in their matches this year.
