The Titanic with 3rd Class

Ms. Carolan’s 3rd class have been learning about the Titanic. 

       We used first and second class sources when researching for our group projects. Each group created an excellent project and presented it to the class throughout the week.

     Over Christmas the children were busy collecting old cereal boxes to construct our art work. Each child was given a passenger profile and tasked with the job of constructing a room for that passenger. The rooms ranged from minimal, overcrowded Third Class rooms to luxury First Class rooms. We then worked together to paint the background by mixing different shades of blue and green. Finally, we all helped to construct the ship.
